There’s a strong sense of ritual involved in assembling the set: the unboxing of each handcrafted candle, the delicate clasping of the metallic foil at the bottom, the aligning of the hole at the candle’s base to its identically sized spike to slot it perfectly in place. The design – combined with the optimal cotton wick and wax quality – offers a premium, drip-free burning experience.

Catharine has a dedicated refilling system with boxes of 6 candles. This system is exclusive to Catharine candles, as the size of the holders’ spikes perfectly matches the pre-drilled hole at the base of the candles, ensuring they stay securely in place for an ideal combustion.

Meet Catharine, our most refined taper: slim, elongated, and unmistakably sculptural. Each candle is shaped
using heritage moulding techniques that demand years of handcrafting expertise an approach rarely found today.

Catharine is made from a bespoke blend of mineral and plant-based wax, developed to deliver a clean, steady flamewhile helping
to prevent drips. The silhouette is intentionally tapered and delicate, yet engineered for effortless use.

What makes Catharine truly unique is the precision-designed base: a discreet central opening allows the candle to fit perfectly onto the metallic spikes of our custom Catharine candleholders. For added safety and ease of handling, each candle is finished with a premium folded metal collar at the base creating a seamless, visually striking connection between candle and holder.

Finally, Catharine candles are coloured throughout the wax (full mass coloration), ensuring a rich, premium depth of colour that remains beautiful as the candle
burns and the flame brings the shade to life.

How to Use:

-Before use, please read and follow all safety warnings and pictograms provided on the outer box label. These are essential for safe and proper use of this product. Check our website for more information or symbol explanation.

-Place the holder on a stable and flat surface.

-Before placing the candles, ensure the spikes are securely in place. The spikes are held in place by built-in magnets.

-Place each candle firmly onto the spikes, ensuring they are completely straight and stable before lighting.

-Adjust the wicks of the candles so that they are straight before lighting.

-The candles should burn to the top of the metallic foil. Do not remove or replace the foil.

-When lit, do not place the burning candle near windows, fans or heating vents to prevent uneven burning or dripping.

-We advise to use a candle snuffer to put out the flame. Avoid blowing directly to prevent hot wax splatter.

How to Care:

-Use the microfiber cloth provided in the box to gently clean the spikes and plate. Wipe away any wax residue and fingerprints to maintain the appearance and functionality of the holder.

-After cleaning, simply place the spikes back into position. The magnets will securely hold them in place. Do not leave the candles in a sunny place as they could bend. The colours of our candles and accessories are stable in UV light, but it’s best not to place the candle in direct sunlight or behind a window where sun shines through, to ensure your candle remains in the best condition.

-Do not wash the spikes in warm water as this can impact the strength of the magnet.
